Kim was one of the founding members of Arthritis Matters, helping to set up the charity in 2005. She developed rheumatoid arthritis in her late teens, and had a hip replacement in 1995, which was replaced in 2015, having lasted 20 years.
Like Kim, Arlene was also a founding Committee member. Arlene has had rheumatoid arthritis for over 30 years, and has had both hips replaced. She has now just retired from full-
Hilary too was a founding Committee member, and also has rheumatoid arthritis. She has been managing her arthritis for over 30 years.
Karen joined Arthritis Matters at its formation, joining the Committee in 2008. Karen has had rheumatoid arthritis for over 40 years, and has had several joints replaced.
Deborah was a founding member of Arthritis Matters, and joined the Committee in 2007. She developed psoriatic arthritis in her teens, and has now been diagnosed with osteoarthritis.
