Reading District Branch
(L to R) Provincial Grand Master Russell Vince,
Arthritis Matters Treasurer Karen Jay
Arthritis Matters Chairman Kim Seabrook ,
and Provincial Deputy Grand Master Fiona Vince.
In 2017 Arthritis Matters member Russell Vince, who was Provincial Grand Master of the Reading District Branch of the Oddfellows Society, kindly put Arthritis Matters forward to be considered for their Charity of the Year. We were all delighted when Arthritis Matters was chosen, as well as the Reading Fibromyalgia Support Group
Established in its current form in 1810, the Oddfellows is one of the largest and oldest friendly societies in the UK, and aims to improve the quality of people's lives through friendship, care and charitable support.
In January our Chairman Kim, and Treasurer Karen, were invited to the Holiday Inn as guests at their annual dinner dance, and were surprised and delighted to receive beautiful bouquets of flowers.
We are extremely grateful for all the hard work and generosity of Russell and Fiona Vince and the Oddfellows Society.
