Exercise

As well as our tai chi classes, we also have a general exercise class. This is a chair- and standing-based class covering mobility, strength, posture and balance, all of which are really helpful for people with arthritis. The sessions involve a warm-up, a weekly theme, and finish off with a cool-down and stretch.

Like the tai chi sessions, classes are on a come as you can basis rather than a set course.

Although we do subsidise these classes, there is a charge of £5 (non-members £6) per session.

Monday afternoons at 2.15 pm at St. Matthew’s Church Hall, 205 Southcote Lane, Reading. RG30 3AX Classes are followed by complimentary tea and biscuits and a chance to catch up with friends.
